MY POWER
OF THREE

About VTM PO3 Ministry

Is a Ministry sharing my God-given commission, a ministry to help people, and my  Success Story.

Through my autobiography, My Power in Three, and the upcoming docu-film “Verna’s Jubilee”, I continue to share my journey of faith and encourage others to walk in their calling.

With humility and unwavering faith, I have spent more than 50 years serving others and working to transform lives. My documentation contributed to the establishment of the first North Texas Food Bank, as well as the Austin Street Shelter and the Annett Strauss Family Shelter. My ministry reflects a lifelong commitment to community, compassion, and progress.

In Verna’s Jubilee, I share my personal journey of serving the homeless, feeding the hungry, and working alongside influential leaders across Dallas to meet the needs of the most vulnerable. The film celebrates decades of advocacy, faith-driven service, and uplifting the African-American community.

I am grateful to have received recognition from President Joe Biden, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, and the Dallas County Commissioners Court, including Judge Clay L. Jenkins, Dr. Elba Garcia, John Wiley Price, Dr. Theresa M. Daniel, and Andrew Sommerman. I have also been honored by Garland Mayor Scott LeMay and Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson.

As part of Verna’s Jubilee, the docu-film will include personal interviews with Dallas and Texas community leaders who have witnessed and worked alongside Verna throughout her years of service. These stories highlight the impact of faith, leadership, and service on neighborhoods, cities, and communities across the region.their heroism and their lasting impact on neighborhoods, cities, counties, states, and the nation.

To bring this vision to life, Verna has assembled a dedicated team of creative professionals whose expertise in filmmaking, media production, and digital storytelling will help preserve and share her remarkable legacy for future generations.
